Working directly with interior designers, architects, and art consultants, every piece is developed specifically for the space it inhabits.

The name Soffi comes from the Italian word soffiare – to blow – and from the soffietta, the traditional glassblower’s tool.
Every piece we create carries that original human breath: the mark of the maker embedded in the material itself.
For over two decades, the studio has explored the intersection of sculpture, lighting, and architectural space through hand-blown glass.
Each piece is individually fabricated through traditional and contemporary glassmaking techniques.
Projects are developed in response to the architecture, lighting conditions, and atmosphere of a space.
We work closely with designers and project teams from concept through installation.
From glass blowing and metalwork to assembly and finishing, our work is developed through our Windsor, Ontario studio by a team of craftspeople, designers, and fabricators.
Keeping production in-house allows us to maintain exceptional quality, flexibility, and attention to detail at every stage.
Founded in 2004 by Kris Gene and Eva Milinkovic, Soffi Studio began as Tsunami Glassworks – a glass fabrication studio dedicated to creating bespoke sculptural work for interior designers, architects, and art consultants. In 2020 we rebranded as Soffi Studio to reflect the breadth of our practice, which now includes our lighting division, Soffi Lighting.
We collaborate primarily with interior designers, architects, hospitality groups, developers, and art consultants on custom installations ranging from sculptural lighting to large-scale feature walls and architectural artwork.
