A Wall Cells commission for the SVNTY residential lobby in Toronto, coordinated by art consultant Doner Turrin Inc. Three framed panel compositions of hand blown glass cells were designed to work within the lobby’s refined monochromatic palette – the organic, pillow-like forms of the glass providing texture and warmth against the stone and millwork surfaces. Each cell is individually blown and mounted, with the framed format giving the installation an art-forward quality that suits the building’s luxury residential positioning. A strong example of how Soffi’s Wall Cells design translates to high-end condominium lobbies when specified through an art consultant.
