Designed for a respite house supporting children with disabilities, this interactive donor wall was created to feel more like an experience than a traditional recognition piece.
Each illuminated wood element represents a donor contribution while collectively forming a larger installation that brings colour, light, and movement into the space. Integrated LED lighting allows the children to change the colours of the wall using a remote control, transforming the piece throughout the day and giving them a way to interact with their environment.
The goal was to create something playful and uplifting without losing the architectural presence of the installation itself. Rather than separating donor recognition from the atmosphere of the building, the wall becomes part of the experience of the space.
