A multi-venue commission aboard Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas, commissioned through IC Art (International Corporate Art, Spain).
Soffi supplied custom hand blown glass installations across four areas of the vessel: the main dining room, the Diamond Club, Loft C, and the spa on Deck 14. The main dining room features compositions of Wall Pearls and Orba in white pearl, gold, copper and ruby finishes across curved navy framed panels; a rich, jewel-like palette that runs the length of the space. The Diamond Club corridor carries a more restrained composition of Cells in silver, gold and copper mirror finishes. Photography of the Loft C and spa installations is not currently available.
All pieces were fabricated to marine specification, meeting weight, fixing, and vibration requirements for the cruise environment.
